Remco Kranendonk: Master degree in Social and Economic Geography (1994) from the Radboud University in Nijmegen at the Faculty of Management Science (NL). Researcher Public Administration, with a specialization on regional innovation, clusters and governance at Wageningen Research. He is much involved in implementation of the Strategic Plan of Wageningen UR, concerning the development of new partnerships in regions with cluster organizations, economic development boards, within the WUR domain of Agrofood, Biobased and Metropolitan Solutions. He is interested in ,the innovation process and the interaction of Knowledge workers with Public and Private partners and Civil Society, in order to develop new regional organizational structures, regional innovation strategies and implementation agendas. He is an expert in regional development in the Netherlands with a focus on governance and learning issues. He has been strategic partner in the regional development strategy of Greenport Venlo, Betuwse Bloem, Biobased Delta, Food Valley, Agrifood CApital, Noord4Bio, BICON. He advices and facilitates regional innovation processes and has a strong experience in connecting science and the regional networks of practitioners.
